1. Project introduction
CFCC full name China Forest Certification Council, the Chinese forest Certification management committee, is the highest management institution of China forest Certification system, its members, including the government, scientific research units, universities and colleges, enterprises and social organizations. China has carried out Forest Certification work in the 1990s, committed to developing a certification system suitable for China''''s national conditions and forest conditions. The construction of China Forest Certification Scheme (CFCS) began in 2001, and was completed and put into operation in 2010. In February 2014, it achieved mutual recognition with the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Scheme (PEFC).
2. Certification value
► Obtaining market access. At present, there are many regulations (such as the EU Wood Act) that restrict the entry of wooden products into the European market. However, wooden products with PEFC logo can be recognized by the market and allowed to enter the EU market.
► Increasing sales channels for products. The State Forestry Administration actively advocates CFCC certification and is making efforts to incorporate CFCC certified products into government procurement policies to provide a new market for CFCC certified products.
